Busy two weeks of boxing. Finally home. I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day..
Can't tell you how proud I am of the Espinoza Boxing Fighters. Friday, May 3 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Joet Gonzalez had a great unanimous decision and Antonio Orozco had a dominate performance with a 7th rd KO.
Saturday, May 4, Abner and Ponce had a great fight. I believe was the fight of the night. I congratulate both fighters. With that fight, Abner became three times World Champ. With big things to come. Also Thank you to OG ABEL for his support outfitting Abner, Oscar and Antonio making them look classy in the ring.

Mares: 'I want Donaire next'

Top Rank Inc. CEO Bob Arum said that he won't discuss a potential clash between RING, IBF and WBO junior featherweight champion Nonito Donaire and WBC counterpart Abner Mares until after Donaire gets beyond an HBO-televised Dec. 15 clash with four-division title-winner Jorge Arce.

Feud taking the fight out of Abner Mares

Fighters and their managers typically don't like to talk much about future opponents when a tough one is on front of them. To that end, super bantamweight champion Abner Mares and manager Frank Espinoza realize Anselmo Moreno won't be an easy foe to conquer when Mares and Moreno square off tonight in the main event at Staples Center (on Showtime).
