It’s been another busy year for manager Frank Espinoza. Not only does he have several undefeated top prospects under his helm, Espinoza is always on the search for new talent and business opportunities for his existing talent.

We caught up with the well known L.A. businessman and manager for a few moments and he shared with us his outlook for 2015.

How was 2014 and what do you expect for 2015?

2014 was a very good year. Oscar Valdez solidified his standing as one of boxing’s next hot prospects, Antonio Orozco proved that he has the goods to move up to the next level and the Magdaleno brothers Jesse and Diego are impressing the boxing public with every performance. Joet Gonzalez is also someone I’m excited about. He’s been looking better every time out. The plan for 2015 is to make it even better than 2014 with more exciting victories and a few more signings. Keep an eye out, we always have a surprise or two for our fans.

What are the plans for Oscar Valdez?

Oscar is fighting December 20 in Phoenix. This will be his sixth fight this year. The plan is to get him a few more fights and get him more exposure. He’s been evolving as a fighter very quickly and I can see him fighting for a world title by early 2016 or sooner.

And the Magdaleno brothers Jesse and Diego?

They’ve proven themselves over and over again and now its time to get them to the world title. Jesse fights January 10 for the N.A.B.F. title. We’re going to keep him busy and bring him back into the ring by March. A far as Diego is concerned, we’re hoping to get him a world title shot in 2016. He deserves it. He’s worked very hard.

What about Antonio Orozco?

Antonio is still undefeated and going strong. He’ll be fighting in February or early March. His dedication to the sport is apparent in the way he trains and prepares. His trainer, Carlos Barragan, has been a tremendous influence for him and together they’ll go far. I’m very excited for Antonio’s future. He has the right talent and attitude to be successful in this very tough sport. I’m looking for him to fight for a world title by the end of 2015.

How’s Carlos Molina?

He’s doing well. He’s fought two world champions and looking to get back in the mix in 2015. He’s learned a lot and his experiences will only make him a better fighter.

What kind of challenge does it pose to manage so many fighters and run your businesses at the same time?

It’s very tough but I haven’t done it all by myself. My son Frankie has been a tremendous help over the years. I’ve been very fortunate to be part of this sport and it’s great to share the experiences with my son.

What message did you want to give to the fans?

I want them to know that Frankie and I are going to keep working with the best young fighters in the game. We hope that they keep following us since we have some very exciting developments for 2015. 2015 will be a big year for Espinoza Boxing Club.

And I want to thank them for following us on social media and the nice comments. It’s very humbling to speak with the fans and I’m grateful for their support. And finally, Frankie and I want to wish the fans and their families a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
